About Me
Get to know Prowler71
Growing up in the 90's meant I got to experience a lot of new beginnings for video games. My first console was the Sega Genesis (which I still proudly own!) and my first handheld was the OG Nintendo Gameboy. That's where my love for both Sonic and Mario began and has not slowed down in the present. You can find me typically gaming more on my PS5 or PC these days, but I still have that loving attachment to where my gaming journey began.
Being an "old man" in his mid 30's now, video games are something that I really wish I had more time for. Gone are the days of gaming from sunrise to sunset or staying up until the crack of dawn to beat that one boss and unfortunately, I've got a full-time job that consumes most of time day to day. However, I know whenever I turn on that power button and see my favorite blue blur or Italian plumber run across the screen, my younger self couldn't be more ecstatic that I'm keeping the gaming dream alive.
So if you can relate to anything I've jumbled down here so far or perhaps you're just wondering what the heck I'm up to, please take a look around the website/blog, consider subscribing or commenting and as always, thanks for being a part of this crazy journey I've started!
Also if you're curious about the name and number that makes up Prowler71, I've always been a huge fan of the villain Prowler from Spider-Man. That's where the inspiration came for the mask in my logo. As for the number? It's my old football number that I had through my entire career. It's also the best number there is!

My Goal
This website/blog is something I've wanted to create for a while to share my thoughts, opinions and feelings about video games with anyone and everyone! I occasionally jump on Twitch to stream some games and love to create other content on my YouTube channel, but this site is something I would love for fellow gamers to relate to, enjoy or have great discussions and community building with.
